Corona test for winter sports

Have you booked a winter sports holiday to a country with an entry restriction? Then it is likely that you will need a PCR test with a COVID-19 certificate to gain access and avoid quarantine. Not all winter sports areas have the same rules regarding corona. For example, the validity of the certificate differs per country. To help you with this, we have made an overview for important winter sports destinations from the Netherlands with the requirements per country. Please note that these rules are subject to change. See the overview below for more information about the corona measures in your (holiday) country of destination.

Please note: the situation changes every day. There may be deviations and you are responsible yourself to check the entry restrictions for the destination country with the local authorities and the tour company. This also applies to the test method that is required.

How our healthcare professionals work

Our doctor or nurse will take some mucus off with a throat and nasal swab. Our laboratory analyzes the material. The doctor checks the results and creates a certificate that confirms your COVID-19 PCR status. This certificate will be sent personally via secure e-mail.

What is a corona test?

We use a corona test to determine whether you are currently carrying the coronavirus. In countries with an entry restriction, this is necessary to avoid mandatory quarantine. There are different ways of testing. For travel, the PCR test is required. On the basis of this test, we determine whether the virus is in the pharynx or nasal cavity.

Before you can travel, you must be able to submit a negative PCR test with a medical certificate. In some cases you have to send these in advance.

Please check the specific requirement for your destination at all times. This prevents you from arriving with an expired statement.

Is your PCR certificate valid everywhere?

You are often asked for the PCR certificate from an approved lab. We have been approved by the RIVM for the COVID-19 PCR tests and are allowed to perform these tests.

Additional requirements may be imposed. For example, China has made a selection of test locations. And some countries require different test method. The traveler is responsible for checking whether the test method or other health declaration is required for the country of destination.
