If you have had symptoms, we use a blood test. We do this with a few drops of blood that you take at home with our testkit.
In the laboratory we check whether you have produced so-called IgG antibodies against the corona virus. This way we can see if you have already had the virus. If we get a positive result, we will test your blood again with an independent ELISA test so that we are almost 100% sure that you have actually had the virus. We want to prevent the test result from being positive when in fact you have not produced antibodies against the virus and you therefore feel unfairly protected against the virus.
