Test at home whether you have antibodies
Do you want to test from home whether you have made antibodies against the coronavirus? This is possible with the Corona-Gehad test. The Corona-Gehad test is a serological test.
The serological test is a blood test that can be used to show whether corona antibodies (IgG) are present in the blood. Antibodies are produced in response to a virus infection or vaccination. This information can provide more peace of mind and security. The test works optimally from about two to three weeks after the first day that you have been sick or vaccinated.
This qualitative test only shows whether there are antibodies in your blood and does not measure how many antibodies you have. So the result is either positive or negative. No value is given with the result.
This home test is an anonymous test. You will not receive a personalized certificate with the result. Need a certificate? Then make an appointment for a serological test in one of our clinics.

Sample collection

Control in lab
In our own RIVM validated and ISO certified laboratory, your sample will be tested for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 (corona) antibodies.
Anonymous result
Within 48 hours of receipt of the return box, you can request the results of the corona antibody test online in a secure and anonymous environment.
Disclaimer: This test remains a snapshot of your antibodies at the time of testing.
The test cannot distinguish between antibodies produced by an infection or by a vaccination.
A positive serological test never counts as ‘proof of recovery’ in the CoronaCheck app.

About the Corona HAD test
If you have had complaints, we will use a blood test. We do this with a few drops of blood that you take yourself at home with a finger prick. In the laboratory we investigate whether you have produced antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. This way we can see whether you have already had the virus, or whether you have been vaccinated.

Which tests can I order for home?
You can also take the blood test or serological test that determines whether you have antibodies against the Coronavirus yourself at home. You can find the test here .
However, it is not possible to use the result of this test as proof of recovery.
PCR tests are administered by healthcare professionals and are not suitable for home use.
Why should I buy a home test?
You can also come to our clinic for the serological test, but it may be easier and safer to collect the material at home. You will then receive our self-sampling kit so that you can take the test at home. You send the set back to us. You just need to post it.
The actual testing and analysis takes place in the laboratory. that makes our test not a home test . To test who has the results at home are currently unreliable and prohibited.
Our laboratory is ISO certified and expert employees carry out the test. The medical microbiologist checks the results and shares them with you via a secure portal.
When will my order be shipped?
If you have placed your order before 10:30 PM, your package will be shipped the same day. With the order you will receive a track & trace code with which you can follow the package exactly.
According to our partner DHL, it is very busy. It may therefore take a little longer before you receive the test. We try to send everything as soon as possible. If there are any questions, please contact us.
Can I return the test?
If the products do not meet your expectations, you can return them within 7 working days, if unused and in original packaging. All returns must be made known to us in writing in advance. This can be done by email. You must state your full name and invoice number. Please note: the account number you provide for the refund must be the same as the account number from which you made the payment to Coronalab.eu. This is to prevent possible fraud with refunds.
Return shipping steps:
- Send an e-mail to info@coronalab.eu and state what you want to return and your order number.
- You will receive a return form by email.
- Fill in the return form, print it out and send it along with the return shipment.
- NB! You are responsible for ensuring that the item arrives intact, unused and in its original packaging.

When will I get the result?
We strive to give everyone a result within 2 working days of receipt at our laboratory, but we depend on the speed of PostNL, among other things.
As soon as your test has been received at our laboratory, the progress can be followed on our website with your unique code. So keep it well!
Am I immune if my serology test is positive?
It is not yet 100% clear whether people who have had SARS-CoV-2 are also immune. We therefore advise people to adhere to the measures in force of the RIVM .
