The government of Egypt announced on Friday, August 7, that it will introduce a PCR test for travelers to the country. The test must not be older than 72 hours. This new rule will take effect from 15 August 2020. This is only for people who do not have Egyptian nationality. A number of tourist attractions are excluded.

There are now dozens of countries that have introduced a negative PCR test as part of the entry restriction. Coronalab performs both PCR and serological testing for travelers. Thousands of travelers have already crossed the border with the PCR certificate. The results are available the same day.
