At Coronalab we get questions regarding which Corona test is now valid to fly to the Canary Islands. According to the rules of the Canary Islands, you can come to the island with an antigen or PCR test from 14 November. In addition, Spain has announced as a country that from 23 November it will only admit people with a negative PCR test (Covid-19 RT-PCR). From then on, this also applies to the Canary Islands. Antigen tests (rapid tests) have not been validated by the WHO for travelers. After all, travelers with complaints should stay at home. Coronalab finds it irresponsible to place people close together on a plane for a few hours with rapid tests, which means that Coronalab follows the WHO guidelines.
